Friday A dry and fine day across Spain and Portugal. A few scattered showers affecting the Balearic islands. Still unsettled across much of Italy with heavy showers as well as affecting the surrounding islands. Heavy rain for the Balkan States with this rain pushing into parts of Greece. The Greek islands however are largely dry and fine. Dry with sunshine across Turkey. Outbreaks of rain moving across northern France with brisk winds. Unsettled with heavy rain affecting the Low Countries and Germany. Near gale to gale force winds here. Largely dry across Poland though with a brisk wind. Outbreaks of rain affecting Switzerland. Dry and fine across Austria. Dry with sunny spells across Slovakia and Hungary. Rain soon moving across Denmark with blustery winds. The far south of Norway is wet with rain as well as blustery. Elsewhere across Norway stays dry with sunshine. Largely dry through Sweden but with rather a lot of cloud. Southern Finland is wet and windy while the north is dry. Unsettl ed across the Baltic States. Wet initially here then winds will strengthen once the rain clears.
