Chilly to start but a largely dry day with sunny spells. The far
southeast of England could also still see showers first thing before
these gradually die away and a few showers will affect northern and
western areas of the UK in general. The afternoon will continue to
be dry for most with decent sunny spells, though showery rain will
affect northwest Scotland and the far northwest of Ireland throughout
the day. A mainly dry night with clear spells, though northern and
western regions of Scotland as well as northwest Ireland will continue
to see showers, some heavy and prolonged. A relatively cool feeling
day though pleasant in the sunshine. Highs at 17C in Scotland, 22C
in southern England. Another chilly night with low dropping back to
7 to 11C. Have a great day. Alexi
