Rain across England gradually clearing from the west Good morning, A cloudy and wet start for many across England and Wales, drier further north and across Ireland and Northern Ireland. The rain will be heavy and persisten at times, particularly in the east, but will gradually clear eastwards with cloud breaking up to see developing sunshine as the day progresses. A cooler day with highs at 11 to 16C. Rain will eventually clear East Anglia during the evening. It will be a clear and dry night for many with the temperatures dropping back to chilly values.
